open the file applications/filemanager/examples/example1.php and 
follow the steps.



JAVASCRIPT PACKAGES
===================
check out the examples folder of the component you want, and then 
open the exampleX_noFramework.html examples in your browser directly 
from the file system. an installation of the blueshoes framework 
is not required (but i recommend it nevertheless :-)
